The center for the Recreation and After-School (Take Care) has been created with the purpose to consolidate a complementary pedagogical experience that guarantees protection to the boys and girls in state of vulnerability in Aguas Frias. The Marina Orth Foundation decided in opening this center to which the children will attend in after their school’s time, and where they find a playful space directed by the INDER Medellín. In this place different aspects of the personality of the infants are developed.

Thanks to the support of Councilman Santiago Londoño and with the aid of the INDER Medellín, we have put to work, in record time, this center with several toy libraries where the children’s population is taken care of. This center began its activities in March, 2009 and on October 22nd it was inaugurated in the presence of several guests and friends of the foundation and the Aquas Frias Community.
